And you may start whenever you're ready. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. As more and more girls are enjoying the equal right to the education, we can see more and more women are releasing their potential in this world. And today I would like to talk about their potential and their power in the cultural protection cause.

I would like to start from a vivid example. One of my favorite influencers on social media is called Jiu Yue. She's a slim little girl, and through her lens, she would record the beautiful story behind the intangible cultural heritage in China, as well as the stories of the artisans in China. And it is a good way for foreigners as well as domestic audience to know more about the beautiful stories behind the beautiful Chinese lantern, sky, kites and so on.

And one thing that impressed me most about her is that she once went to the south eastern China to learn about a ritual dance in the rural area. And to dance that beautifully, she need to wear a really heavy costume and wave a heavy stake at the process of it. And for a slim girl to do that, she need to do a lot of physical exercise.

She practiced so hard that sometimes she even hurt herself so badly. And I watched those fragile little hands and gradually they become rough and powerful. I was so touched. And she is definitely a model for every young girl that you can be the powerful woman that nobody can define and nobody should set a ceiling on your life and you should chase whatever you wish, whatever you dream in the future.

And beside this modeling effect, we can see more about her contribution in the cultural protection cause. For example, the value of her action is twofold. On the first layer, she helped to pass down the traditional Chinese heritage to the future generation, which is really important because Chinese culture values so much about our root, our cultural heritage.

We have that reverence for our root because this is our way to appreciate the people before us and their sacrifices made for the life we are enjoying today. And also another layer of her action is that she helped the future generation to enjoy the, to build a strong cultural identity in this more and more globalized world.

With this strong cultural identity, we will be more able to enjoy and efficiently engage in the intercultural communication and find our place in today's more and more inclusive world. Thanks for listening.
