his-story/her-story 开场有创意,文化意识与国家认同要素表现良好,但普遍文化知识与跨文化探索要素仍有提升空间,李兰娟事迹呈现有失准确

And now let's proceed to China's story. Who had heard the story, please step forward, and you may start now. Ladies and gentlemen, I always have a doubt towards the word history. Separate the word history, and you get his story. Well, I don't think it's really fair, because her story is always important too. And today I want to talk about a female story to you.
And my character is Dr. Li Lan Jun. Well, as the name may ring a bell in your head, she is a very famous epidemiologist in China's history. However, in my story, epidemic COVID-19 is not my history. It's not my narrative. Dr. Li Lanjuan's journey began not in a very famous or prestigious city hospital, as many people may have imagined.
but she started her journey as a barefoot doctor in a small rural village. During her youth time, she saw the hardship of the farmers firsthand, and her primary drive was to alleviate the sufferings of the people, of the patients. And just when she was doing her surveys and doing her experiments in the farmlands, she discovered that a lot of farmers are suffering from very serious symptoms, like coughing or a dull pain in the chest.
She soon discovered that there are symptoms of pneumonia, tuberculosis, just some very serious lung diseases. And then, in order to solve this challenge, she made a solution. And the solution is very important because it's fourfold. The roots, the process, the protection, and the efficiency. From the root, she removed the contaminants that may pose a threat to the farmlands.
And for the process, she used some isolation strategies to separate the patients and the healthy people. and for the efficiency. That's about the hierarchical system. And that's very interesting because through her solution, last year I had an internship in a hospital and I saw a woman about 60 years old enter our hospital with a frown.
But when she left, she left with a smile. That is because under the influence of Dr. Lee Landry's solution, we finally made a lab for infectious diseases to combine our traditional Chinese medicine along with the Western knowledge to cure the diseases. And then for the efficiency, we create the hierarchical system to place the urgency of the patients to cure the diseases.
So ladies and gentlemen, Li Lan Jun's story is just an epitome of millions of women in China, in all of the world. And next time you think about history, pay attention to her story. Thank you. Thank you, Candace.
