Ladies and gentlemen, our case analysis is themed on public diplomacy. The video we've watched just now illustrated China's devotion in the Build and Grow Initiative. Our country established a kind of vocational and educational program in African countries called Lubang Workshop.
Drawing the name from the great craftsman master, Lu Ban, this program aims to enhance the technical and vocational training that open up job opportunities towards youngsters in Africa so that they can have a hands-on practice on advanced technology and have access to jobs related to high technology. So in the video, we've noticed that this program is very beneficial not only to the individuals in Africa but also to the whole country.
So through this interview, we saw a lot of individuals and governors sharing their gratitude towards this program. So how does this program facilitate the African development on the individual level and on the broader level of country? Yeah, that's a good question. Well firstly in the macro dimensions the Lu Bang workshops establish a set of institutions And this set of institutions contains a hidden but well observed a logic chain Firstly the set of institutions and this set of institutions contains a hidden but well logic chain Firstly the set of a kind of infrastructures and the setting the corporations and factories could brings a group of well-trained engineers and workers.
Those well-trained engineers and workers then go into and dive into the industry like automation, robotic areas and AI development. And after they go into those areas where those areas were developing countries or developed countries are urgently need for those talented peoples and they fill up this kind of demand. And that brings a transformation and apt update for the whole industry structures to adjust and to adapt the global trend for developing a well-trained and AI-driven kind of new industry.
And secondly, in a micro dimensions, those trainers in their interview state three specific points that needs to be noticed. The first is the formation of the Lubang workshop. Lubang workshop mainly suggests a teamwork form rather than a individual training. And through this teamwork form, they can communicate with each other and boost their all experience together.
And second, the way of Luban workshop is to practical training and mostly dealing with those realistic robots and machines and to form their firmly skills to further development. And the third, the outcome level where the interviewers, like they stated that they're easier to apply for a job and offer into the newborn industry.
So above all, this showcase some cross-culture strategies like collectivism and long-term orientation where a group of organizers and trainers together and better themselves and form a well-stated logic chain for all nations to transform their structure and update. Thank you for introducing us this achievements of this program on material level.
And on the other hand, we know that this program borrowed the name from the Lu Ben master, and he's the icon for this kind of craftsmanship spirit. So how does this program transfer this kind of specific spirit that inherits from our traditional values into the whole world? Can you introduce that? Indeed. So we can see that Lu Ben's spirit has transcended beyond borders and has developed chronologically and spatially.
So, Lu Ben as an ancient artisan or ancient craftsman, his ancient wisdom has brought benefits in ancient times because he doesn't emphasize using glue or cutting the wood to make things into furniture or locks. He emphasized a holistic thinking. He considers how these things intertwine with each other. And this kind of spirit has transcended beyond borders and times and has passed into modern times.
It not only sparked in ancient times, but also in the contemporary era. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, we can see that the Lubin spirit has brought benefits to African countries, not only for cultivating talents, but also for promoting the development of the whole nation of Africa. And also in the video, they mentioned that this Lu Ben spirit has not only brought benefits to Africa, as well as the whole world.
You can see that engineers from even European countries have mentioned that this spirit is really practical. It reflects the practical and perceptual thinking of our Chinese ancestors. Compared to the analyst thinking Chinese people we emphasize a holistic thinking because we value whole practice we value long orientation We believe that this not only should bring um short benefits cultivating talents in this era but we should bring this and make it a shared treasure for now times for the future from China to Africa to the world so great and any other enlightenment or insights can you summarize for integrating this kind of Chinese traditional spirits in the modern era. Is there anything you want to share?
Yes. So there are several strategies and I would like to mention two. So first, we think that according to Hofstede, our core spirit is rather fixed. It is rather deep-rooted in our tradition and as we pass this spirit or this wisdom into other nations, we should keep this deeply rooted. However, the practices, they're visible and they're adaptable. For instance, the Lubin spirit can demonstrate to African countries on how to build railways, how to build robots, and perhaps in European countries, they can use this kind of spirit to solve maritime routes or to further their infrastructure.
So I think this is really adaptable and reflected from the Chinese holistic spirit and holistic thinking. And the second is that we should move from what we have to what we can share and what we can bring to the world. because Lu Ban, although he is a Chinese craftsman, his spirit can transcend borders and time and can bring this to a whole beneficial thing for the whole world. We should return from what we have to what we share and what we bring, and we will turn this Lu Ban spirit into a shared treasure of both China and the world.
Splendid. In conclusion, this kind of Lu Ban workshop provides a valuable template for the global practice towards multilateralism and common prosperity. It showed China's efforts of offending a kind of ethnocentrism. We do not only focus on our economic development, but we are willing to spread this kind of Chinese wisdom and Chinese approach towards the shared future of mankind. As the saying goes, we are instruments playing in the same orchestra.
As long as we work in harmony with one another without uniformity, we can build a brighter future. And I believe that must be the most beautiful symphony for all human beings. And that is the end of our case analysis. Thank you.
